Phae Emert
President & Chief Executive Officer
Phae Emert, the founding principal in the firm, combines her unique integrated marketing approach to sound creative insight, serving as the firm’s President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2001, Phae started the company with a singular vision: to solve the total marketing needs of corporate clients through a unified brand and methodology system that evaluates a company’s branding needs holistically. This approach is changing the way companies look at their communications and operations. From start-up’s to Fortune 100 giants across the country, Orbital’s select clientele are enjoying the benefits of her vision.
Phae specializes in creating, crafting and extending brands through different media. Having worked on both the agency and client sides, she is particularly in tune with the strategies required to develop successful marketing materials. Before founding Orbital, Phae was a senior marketing executive with a leading Fortune 500 information services corporation and helped to develop and direct brand identities for the company’s numerous subsidiaries. Phae’s work has consistently earned recognition from local and national competitions and publications, including the Houston Advertising Federation, American Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of America, the Texas Association of Builders and the Greater Houston Builders Association. Phae is a member of the Houston AMA, HAF and DMA.
John Horrell
Director of Interactive
John’s advertising and design experience ranges wide: from print to interactive media. He is an expert in integrated marketing communications and working in almost any digital media, and he is the brains behind Orbital’s content management system, SiteBox Pro. Prior to joining Orbital, John applied his art direction at Corel and was web administrator for Stewart Information Services Corporation. where he was responsible for the design and creation of many of the company’s internal and external web sites. His expertise can be seen in projects for Stewart Title and its many subsidiaries, Keller Williams and more. John holds multiple Microsoft certifications and is an expert in Flash, HTML, Java Script, ASP, SQL and database development.
